Take a Walk in Our Shoes Poetry Challenge Day 18

All this snow and cold we've been having is making my students long for spring. We settled for some poems inspired by some spring rain boots today.

Rain Boots
by Sebastian Retan

Splish, splash
here I come
with my rain boots on.
Polka dotted
like a ladybug.
Pink like cotton candy.
Black spots
like a dark hole.
These boots allow me
to splish, splash
in gigantic puddles.

Rain Boots
by Zane Jermyn

Boots
raining
raindrops
falling from the sky.
Puddles
on the ground,
jump in.
Make a big splash.
Get wet,
lots of fun.
Are you ready
to splash in?
