Spring is Here

Spring has awoken
time to break out your sandals.
My favorite pair
looks like sand on the bottom
and sky blue on top.
In the middle
a cotton candy flower
spreads out its pedals.
Down the sidewalk, you can hear
flip-flops flopping to a beat.
letting you know
that sunshine is here.
Oh my gosh--this poem has awesome rhythm!! "break out your sandals," "sky blue on top," "flopping to a beat," "sunshine is here." Love this poem!!
